Kirtan is the devotional practice of call-and-response chanting.
I’m inviting you into it through the lens of Tantra, an embodied path that treats breath, sound, and sensation as doorways to the divine.
Between chants, I’ll guide you to feel the mantra moving through your body, to breathe into what opens, and to rest in the stillness that follows, so the music becomes something you feel all the way through as well as something you sing.
Whether you’ve been chanting for years or have never sung in a room full of strangers, there’s a place for you here, no belief system and no experience required.
I’ll be joined by a circle of gifted professional musicians, filling the room with live instruments and lush harmony, as we gather at Dvāra Sanctuary to open our hearts and remember our connection to each other, to ourselves, and to the divine.
Ala cart cacoa service will also be available.
Meet Your Guide
Hi, I'm Jenn.
I’ve been singing since I was a child, starting with classical voice training, and in 2014 someone gifted me a harmonium that changed everything. It drew me into Bhakti and kirtan, and devotional music has been a living current in my life ever since.
Alongside that, I’ve spent more than 17 years in yoga, Tantra, and somatic practice, studying with teachers in India, Bali, and the US, and I’m a Senior Certified Tantra Practitioner.
When I lead kirtan, these paths come together, the musicianship I’ve built over a lifetime and the embodied presence Tantra has taught me, so the practice can reach past your throat and into your whole body.
I also teach devotional singing as somatic voice work, mentor women through spiritual and life transitions, and host the podcast Fumbling Towards Awakening.
